DISTRACTION. It comes in many forms and even in things we deem as “positive” – (over) socialising, taking care of others incessantly, being “busy” all the time, travelling, work, exercising… as well as “negative” distractions – drugs, alcohol etc… countless ways to distract ourselves from our SELF.
When was the last time that you took the time to focus inward and look at the internal world of yourself? When you take away all the distractions and you sit in the noise of your thoughts, what do you feel? Is it happiness and Joy? Is it sadness and anger?
This is one of the most important things that I have learnt to cultivate a Joyful existence and a dream-filled, motivated, enthusiastic life. It is imperative for your own personal growth and satisfaction of life, that you take time to assess what’s really going on. Awareness is your friend! It gives you the opportunity to CHANGE your vibe, bring yourself up and really start living a life full of amazingness!
