A Nia Playshop with Guest Workshop Leader & Nia instructor, Nik Chung from New Zealand.
Our emotions colour how we experience the world. If we can notice our emotions and use them effectively, we can navigate our life in a way that lets us be more authentic with ourselves and others, giving us a more pleasurable and Joyful life!
In this Playshop, we will be using the body as a tool to explore this mind/emotion/body connection. We will use Nia dance as a way to notice how our unique bodies react to our emotions and thoughts and how to use the body as a creative vehicle for expressing our emotions and changing how we react and feel in the world.
When we give our emotions an outlet, to be freely expressed, in a way that is beautiful and non-harmful to us or others, we allow our unique individuality to come to the surface. We are full of vitality, happiness and a sense of freedom. And we are empowered to live a life that is truly ours!
Everybody welcome! Newbies, experienced students, young, young at heart, male, female, purple :)
